Tollbar MAT Sixth Form will open its doors to Year 11 students and their families on Wednesday 13th October. Visitors will be able to visit all 21 subject areas to learn more about the curriculum and the opportunities it has to offer. From September 2022 will be offering three new subjects – Law, IT and Sociology—in addition to the wide range of academic A-levels students currently on offer.
Our own Sixth Form students will be present on the evening to provide their perspectives of studying for A-levels at Tollbar MAT Sixth Form. They will also be able to share with visitors their experiences of applying for university or higher level apprenticeships. Year 12 and Year 13 students will also demonstrate the wide range of enrichment and voluntary activities in which students can participate.
We will also be joined by representatives from the universities of Hull, Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste. These three local universities are amongst the popular destinations to which students’ progress. They will be able to give insights into the pathways A-level students can take to higher education.
If you are interested in attending you do not need to book in advance, simply come along on the evening. Two talks will take place, at 6pm and 7pm, and guests are welcome to visit the subject areas afterwards.
