Students and staff scored some top marks when GCSE results were celebrated at Somercotes Academy.
The next steps for some of the students include appearing in theatre, motor racing, starting a new life in Poland and keeping goal at Grimsby Town.
Somercotes Academy has been an impressive springboard for all the students who shared respect for inclusion and diversity, including a student fleeing the horror of war in Ukraine.
Dimytrii Musiian (16) left his city near capital, Kyiv, with only one word of English - "Hello," but has passed his Combined Science GCSE.
Principal Jake Bailey congratulated all his students and thanked staff.
"I'd like to wish all our students good luck and best wishes on their next step in education or employment," he said.
"Some are leaving for incredibly exciting opportunities, richly deserved given the hard work and effort they have put in, helped by their teachers and support staff."
Stevie Bush (16) will soon be appearing on stage in an adaptation of John Updike's The Witches of Eastwick and will be soon attending Grimsby Institute.
She gained a level Two Distinction in Performing Arts and was presented with a bouquet of flowers by her Art teacher Samantha Lyons to celebrate her success.
"They have all been so supportive of me at Somercotes," said Stevie.
She gained a 9 in Art and Design and 8 in French as well as other outstanding results in all her other subjects.
Joe Plowright is heading to Askham Bryan Motorsport College as he wants to be an engineer for F1.
He gained 2 8s in Science and Geography, with 3 7s and 2 6s, Level 2 Merit in Performing Arts and a Level 2 distinction in Creative IMedia.
"First I am going to go car racing around the UK as much as I can," he said.
Neve Ess gained 9 in art and design, 8s in History and English Language, 2 7s in Design and Technology and English Literature and 3 6s in Geography, Maths and Combined Science.
She aims to pursue a career in Criminology by studying at Franklin College in Grimsby.
She said: "I shall be celebrating with a shopping trip to Freshney Place with friends."
Kai Coulling, 16, said he deserved "a good rest" after all his revision for his GCSEs and is delighted to have secured a scholarship for Grimsby Town FC.
He gained 8 in History and scored well in several other subjects, with 7 in English Literature, 4 6s and a Level Two pass in Creative IMedia.
"It is a good result," he declared as he looked forward to more games in goal for Louth Town and a Somercotes XI.
He celebrated his success with curriculum leader for PE, Amie Wright.
Among the other high achievers were Amelia Gore who received a big hug from mum, Eloise Gore.
She gained 3 8s in French, English Language and Physics, 5 7s and a Level Two Distinction in Creative IMedia.
She aims to be a child psychiatrist after studying Psychology, Sociology and English Language at Franklin College.
"I tried my hardest in revision and used the Pomodoro technique of focussing on work for 20 minutes then taking five minutes break. It worked and now I can enjoy going out with friends and eating some chocolate." said Amelia.
She added: "I have loved doing English Language at Somercotes and Creative Writing. They have all been so supportive. I love a horror and romance combo in my reading . It is my go-to and am enjoying Stephen King's "Fairy Tale just now."
Another star pupil from Somercotes is Nicole Jonczyk who gained a 9 in Polish. She will soon be studying at college in Bydgoszcz, in the north west of Poland.
"It was really good being at Somercotes," she said.
"I asked if I could study Polish, which is my first language and amazingly they said I could. It has been a great opportunity. I have been happy at school and enjoyed time with friends and playing netball. I became captain of the team!."
Dimytrii Musiian, 16, said Somercotes Academy had been a lifeline for him after leaving Ukraine following the Russian invasion in February 2022.
He moved to Mablethorpe to live with his uncle. He said he is looking forward to studying at Grimsby Institute where he will learn Construction and Engineering.
Principal Jake Bailey praised his phenomenal results.
"From joining in Year 10 and surrounded by students who have spoken English all their lives, Dmytrii has been welcomed and learned a lot and he got good grades in Maths."
Charlotte Prendergast received an apprenticeship offer from Phillips 66 after securing 3 7s in English Literature, Geography and Technology with 3 6s and 2 5s.
Penelope Shaw is going on to do A levels and wants to be a midwife after gaining an extra GCSE in Music and a 9 in Biology, 2 8s in Geography and Chemistry, with 3 7s and 3 6s and a level 2 Merit.
